In addition to the comprehensive quality control program practiced in-house, Cascadia has retained expert external consultants (in both Canada and the US) to inspect and improve our products and our manufacturing process. We test our windows and doors to all required Canadian and American standards, including optional ratings such as Condensation Resistance.

Testing for compliance with AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440-08 (NAFS: North American Fenestration Standard/Specification for windows, doors, and skylights) is ongoing. Qualified Envelope Diagnostics Ltd. performs various tests on a regular basis (including ASTM E283, ASTM E331, and ASTM E330). We also use Intertek in Canada and ADI in the US for further testing. Our NFRC (National Fenestration Ratings Council) listings and ENERGY STAR qualifications are overseen by Keystone Certifications Inc. Cascadia has retained RDH Building Engineering Ltd. to perform regular quality assurance reviews. RDH also conducts regular water penetration tests to confirm that proper fabrication procedures are being followed.
