Window & Door Screen Options: We offer screens which are manufactured by a third-party screen supplier. The style and type of screen is dependent upon the series of window and /or door that is selected.

Cascadia offers 2 different types of screens:

1. FIXED SCREENS Used for 300 and 325 series.

2. RETRACTABLE SCREENS - Used for 300A, 300B, 302 and 303 series.

Fixed Screens

Cascadia uses two different style of fixed screens.

1. 300 SERIES.

2. 325 SERIES

Mirage Retractable Screens

Cascadia offers one type of retractable screen. This retractable screen is used on the 300A, 300B, 302 and 303 series. The length of the housing and width of mesh are customizable and can be made to fit the window and/or door exact. There are some limitations for maximum sizes and this can be discussed with your Cascadia local sales rep.

Joint Construction: Joints are miter cut and fastened together with shear blocks. All fasteners are stainless steel.

Installation: Several installation methods can be utilized. Our preferred method is a clip anchor for sides and top with a back dam angle at the sill: this allows for units to be installed from the interior or exterior. Traditional nail flange attachment is an option with all window and door series.

Options: Grilles; simulated divided lites; trickle vents (to meet Seattle ventilation requirements). Insect screens are optional for all operable units.

Each of our products offers various design options: please see Products for series-specific information.
