Cascadia Windows VP Mike Battistel was recently interviewed by Award Magazine in an article about continuous insulation technologies. The article spans different solutions, from foam spray to the Cascadia Clip.
In the article, Mike talks about the advantages of using fiberglass as a thermal spacer.
The low conductivity fiberglass reduces the thermal bridging associated with conventional steel girts and clips. "By doing this, the Cascadia Clip increases the effective R value by about 100 per cent", says Mike Battistel, VP Operations.
